The Alberk Spiral Water Chiller is designed for the controlled washing and chilling of poultry carcasses in water after completion of the evisceration process. Carcasses enter the chilling tank and are continuously conveyed toward the discharge point by the screw mechanism over a controlled processing period, supporting consistent product flow and effective temperature reduction. The blower system generates water movement and turbulence inside the tank, increasing contact between the carcasses and chilled water and supporting more uniform washing and cooling throughout the process. At the same time, the controlled movement of the screw conveyor ensures orderly carcass progression through the tank, helping maintain the required residence time and consistent chilling conditions during continuous production. Designed with a modular configuration, the Poultry Screw Chiller can be engineered in 3-meter sections according to processing line capacity and specific chilling requirements. Available with 1600 mm and 2100 mm tank diameter options, its robust stainless steel construction is engineered for continuous operation and intensive washdown conditions in high-capacity poultry processing plants.
